Globe Telecom recently launched its Digital Thumbprint program in Manila Science High School with over a thousand kids from grade 7 to 11 attending.
What is the Digital Thumbprint Program? It is a school-based educational program for high school students covering the understanding of online connectivity and the importance of responsible digital citizenship.
Basically, its aim is to enlighten the younger generation of the dangers that are there in the digital world and help them learn how to protect themselves.

DTP offers three exciting modules for students. Each module is designed to increase students’ knowledge of digital citizenship and cyber safety by taking a critical look at their online behavior and helping them develop insights into the influences of the online world and the choices they are making.
- The Digital Insight workshop provides activities to help students discern proper online behavior,
- Digital Impact tackles issues on technology’s impact on students’ social activities
- Digital Ambition equips them with skills on how to use technology to achieve life goals.
