Me and my Family usually go to Baguio 1-2 times a year, usually on business.. I bring my family so after work, we can spend some time wondering around.. this time around it was my wife that had something to take of in Baguio and we opted to stay inside Camp John Hay at the Mile Hi Inn
And so we mostly decided to just roam around inside, and that’s how we found the Choco-Late de Batirol. On our last day, Vince our friend that was based in Baguio mentioned that he was going hiking with his daughter and we decided to try and catch up.. that’s how we found the paintball area.
The paintball area offers a couple of things you can do. It has the target practice area..200 php for 50 paintballs
Not bad, right? Here’s a look at the gun that you will use.
Here’s a look at the pricing of the things you can inside. They also have rappeling and rockclimbing.
Sorry about the price for the rappeling.. I didn’t notice that it was blurred.. you can play paintball war games in the special area for 450 php per head with 200 php worth of balls.
If you want more nature tripping.. go on inward from the paintball and you will see the butterfly garden.. it’s around 200 php per head, after that its the Camp John Hay Eco Trail.
The Eco trail is free for everyone.. just please mind your surroundings and keep it clean.
The basic trail is very easy and is clearly marked… and according to those we asked.. it ends somewhere near SM Baguio… nope.. we didnt finish it.
We saw some trails that looked promising but since I was with kids, we opted to stick with the normal route.
The kids enjoyed walking around the trees and even wanted to finish off the trail, but we had to go home the same day. The trail lasts for around 30 mins to 1 hr depends on how fast you walk and has some challenging spots, but nothing too hard.
The Baguio Eco Trail is also a great place to do photoshoots, we actually passed 2 groups doing that and even an actual couple doing bird watching photography.. try it out sometime that you are there.
Enjoy Baguio!
