Summer is here again… and that means vacation for most kids and families… and swimming sessions in the swimming pool or beach resorts.. Camping out in the woods or by the bay.. and a host of other outdoor activities… Before you start running out.. here’s a couple of things that you will need for sure..
1. Sunblock..I usually go to Watsons to buy this.. why? they usually have more selections than other places
2. Flashlights – it’s best that you have a couple of flashlights wherever you go… especially if you go out of the house.. I usually stash at least 1 each per car.. and usually carry 1 for each person when we leave for a holiday.. good places to shop for these are Ace Hardware or even CDR – King
3. Powerbanks – Make sure to bring a couple of powerbanks – you never know when you will run out of juice for your devices…for High End powerbanks, you can try Mipow, I think they are available in allphones stores and Imac powerhouse, if you’re in a budget – try cdr – king… which reminds me – I need to go there to buy one of those solar chargers so I can recharge my powerbanks anywhere.
4. Waterproof bag.. this is a must have.. especially if you have gadgets when you travel near water. The most affordable I’ve seen is from Ace Hardware for 199.75 Here is how to use it..
Make sure to fold the top portion at least 3 times… then clamp it shut.. it also comes with a handy sling.
5. Mobile Internet – make sure you keep yourself connected to be able to upload and share all your experiences to your friends and family…Me, I use Globe Telecom for my internet needs as they have full 3g coverage in the entire Philippines already.
6. Mobile Phone – preferably a dual sim capable phone so you need to only carry one.. and one that has a lot of juice in it along with a great camera..I currently use the I4 from Kata Digital but will be upgrading to the M3 which has 16 megapixels for the rear camera.
